Refund Policy

Returns 

***Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are taking various precautions to ensure the safety of everyone.  We will no longer accept any returns or exchanges on any items purchased from us. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we want to ensure we stay safe during this time. We hope to return to our original return policy (below) once we deem its safe to do so. 

Thank you so much for shopping with Smitton Family Boutique, LLC. It is our hope that all purchases exceed your expectations. If the purchase falls short for some reason, please contact us after checking the following guideline:.

  • Return must be received within 15 days of the order date to be eligible for a refund
  • Orders/items received within 1-8 days of the order date are eligible for a full refund 
  • Orders/items received within 9-15 days of the order date are eligible for store credit. This could be in the form of a gift card or store discount code.

Any item received after this time period will be denied, and you will be contacted to pay a return shipping fee.

All returns MUST be received with store tag(s) attached in original location, undamaged, unworn, unwashed, and scent free.

Any returns received that do not meet these standards will be respectfully denied.

Sale priced items are final sale. Final sale items are not eligible for refund or exchange.

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange: 
All accessories (includes jewelry, scarves, and hats) 
All intimates/undergarments 
All sale items

Please allow 5-10 days to process all returns. Return shipping fees are not included in purchase or refunded by Smitton Family Boutique, LLC.

Refunds 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 


If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5-10 days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 


Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 


Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. 


If you’ve done all of these items, and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@smittonfamilyboutique.com.

 

Exchanges 


All orders/items received within 9-15 days of the order date will receive a store credit. Keep in mind this could be in the form of a gift card or store discount code.

All exchanges must be received with an exchange slip, store tag(s) attached in original location, undamaged, unworn, unwashed, and scent free. Any returns received that do not meet these standards will be respectfully denied. Sale priced items are final sale and not eligible for exchange.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he/she will receive updates regarding your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Damage/Defective Items 


We inspect all of our items thoroughly, but sometimes there may be a damaged or defective item. Please check your items promptly to ensure the item is in great condition. If you find that your item is damaged or defected, contact us at info@smittonfamilyboutique.com within 72 hours of receiving your item.

Any contact made outside of this time period regarding damaged items will be respectfully denied.Please include the following information in your email: 
Your name 
Order number 
A picture of the damaged item

A member of our team will contact you within 72 hours of your original email. Items that have been worn, washed, or have the tag removed will not be allowed.Please communicate any order issues as soon as possible.When shipping an item, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
